Four good things:
1. It's a beautiful day, sunny with no wind (though a wee bit cold). It smells like spring!
2. This wrok week is short and sweet! Only wroking Mon-Wed. \o/
3. I'll be going home to mum's for easter.

Idly checking up on what's on tv this weekend I found this film that sounded like it could be interesting, but the info shown on dagenstv was too scarse, promting me too look it up at IMDB. There I found a review of it with the following little paragraph:
"i hate the shaved head in this film. it is so unbearable to look at him, which is one reason my points are so low. i can't stand looking at people for an extended period of time that have no hair, or are bald. i prefer them to wear a hat or a toupee or something."

Now I just have to partition/format/move files/reinstall winXX (I'll probably end up with win98+winXP, but not quite decided yet. Have to be able to play System Shock. meh! So no ditching win98) and all the programs. Guess what will keep my occupied this weekend, eh?
If the weather is as nice as today though, I'll probably try and be outdoors a bit too... or at least sit on the balcony in the sunshine and read. Big pile of unread books, atm
Someone has hijacked the scanner at wrok, so my Plan to scan some scenic photos was thwarted! Gna. Annoying.
And the digital camera has decided that it doesn't want to cough up the photos you take with it. Which rather spoils the whole point of using it. Just viewing them on the LCD display gets tired really fast...

Hmm... found this while cleaning (since the SQL-server is down for maint. and the testing I was doing will be postponed until it's up) my inbox:

It all had a perfectly reasonable explantion though: Turns out she came with a neighbour who drove up for the day to do some buissness, and wanted some company in the car...
2. There was a spontaneous mini-reunion in #ireland. Lowlander ICQ'd me and said to drag my behind in there, because a bunch of old regs had showed up. So I did. And they had! :D

(I wrote and were about to post this yesterday but blogspot went fubar on me, of course)
This article misses a, for me, very obvious reason. Actually it completely misses the main reason for why I'm using a blog. Which is to make it easy to keep my friends updated on what I'm up to. Because I rarely find the time to send them mail(not to mention call), and it also feels silly to send off a mail with 3 lines in it, more or less. Updating the blog is far more easy, and all my friends can read it so I don't have to keep them updated seperatly. Sure, it might be slightly more impersonal, but it's better than dead quiet, isn't it? :)
(and I can update during office-hours too \o/ )

Well, GBM, I love green.. it's my favorite colour.. but that particular shade, dunno about that.. ;) (and yer a girly duck. bwhaha! that's so cute!! *giggles*.. ahem.. *cough*)

Did a few things though, like cleaning up the site. Now I just have to put something else up there *ponders*.. I have some ideas, but not sure how it'll work out. Guess I'll have to try and find out...
The sun is shining... there's a gentle wind blowing, the clouds are woolly, brightly green new grass can be seen if looking closely... and I have this urge to go around.. skipping. Yep, it's spring approaching alright :)

Yummm... currently indulging in cheese orgy. Inspired by a dream, I'm stuffing myself with Brie, Rochefort and various hard cheeses.

and it's all very weird... because it's not really 'me'. Though I guess it is, since I'm listening too it. (the Pitch Black soundtrack being the closest to what's 'usually' me though, since that's a pure instrumental very soundtrack-y cd)
Hrm. The most 'not-me' is actually the Tomb Raider soundtrack. There's some really bad tracks on there. And I took those off the playlist.
It's strange... I'm always so much more creative at my laptop than at my regular computer. Possibly becuase on here I don't have the same distractions. Neither games, nor ADSL. So if I don't feel like reading or cooking (ok, so I am cooking tonight, but it doesn't require my undiveded attention. It just sits on the stove, happily stewing away), it's that much easier to get on the computer and write something. Like this.
No, I didn't say I'd write something worthwhile. Just that I'd write something ;)
Oh, and figured out a way around the ebil msi installer! Hah! (Now I just have to actually do it, but I can't until tomorrow, since, as mentioned above I'm on my laptop.)
And re: the archives. I probably should remake the entire template because it's one sorry mess at the moment.
SE: thanks a bunch for the tips on the archives, but they're still not working. Ah well. I'll figure it out, sooner or later. I'm sure it's just me doing something wrong.

well... sort of well. Better at least. Bloody colds. But then I heard today that co-workers neighbours have the flu. ARGH! Stay away from me I say!
What else.. hum.. Arx demo is also fux0red. Stupid thing (msi installer=spawn of the debil) that requires 300+ megs on the sysdrive. But I'll find my way around it, yesh! I will! Out of spite, if nothing else. Hmf.
Also haven't read a thing during the entire weekend (apart from a little on the forums). Sad, but true.
